  • Bilingual Customer Service Representative - Full Time - Hartsville

    JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Customer Service Representative’s primary responsibility will be to schedule patient appointments for medical office visits.  The CSR will be scheduling appointments from a central call center location for all CareSouth Carolina medical offices.  Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:  Gathers necessary demographic and clinical information and enters into scheduling system; may communicate visit requirements and instructions; and make necessary adjustments to the appointment as needed. 

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in an appointment scheduling position, preferably in a medical practice setting.  Must be fluent in Spanish (both verbal and written)

    HOURS:  Call Center will operate Monday – Friday, 7:30 – 6:00. Will be scheduled for 7:30 – 4:00 or 9:30 – 6:00.

  • Fleet Assistant - Full Time - Warehouse

    POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direction of the Director of Physical Plant, the primary responsibility of the Fleet Assistant is ensuring the CareSouth Carolina vehicle fleet is operational and maintained.  Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Maintains preventive maintenance schedules for all CareSouth Carolina company vehicles
    • Responds to, assesses, and responds to any vehicle need when problems arise. Manages in-house repairs based on skill set taking into account cost of outside repair, warranty, liability, etc.
    • Utilizes database of insured drivers to ensure only authorized drivers are operating the fleet vehicles
    • Maintains database to track vehicle VINs, mileage, and vehicle maintenance schedule, such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
    • When needed, operates the commercial (Mobile Medical/Dental Units) vehicles, and troubleshoots issues with the commercial vehicle(s), including acting as the liaison with the manufacturers
    • Assists the Director of Physical Plant with warehouse and department needs as time allows

     

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
    • Three to five years fleet management or related position required
    • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL), Class B with air brake endorsement, required
    • Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to competently complete minor vehicle repairs and maintenance
    • Must have the ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards
    • Must have computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • ROADS Mobile Unit Specialist - Full Time - Locations Listed In Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direct supervision of the Mobile Health Services Program Manager, the ROADS Mobile Unit Specialist is responsible for the day to day transportation needs of one or more of the ROADS mobile healthcare units. The primary responsibility of the Mobile Unit Specialist is to safely operate the vehicle driving to and from its daily assigned workplace, including performing thorough pre-trip inspections daily and promptly reporting any issues to the Fleet Manager. The Mobile Unit Specialist will be responsible for securing a suitable parking area at each assigned location and setting up the mobile unit for clinic readiness.

     

    In addition, the Mobile Unit Specialist will perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling, and insurance verification. He/She will assist the ROADS team clinical staff with escorting children from class to the mobile unit and obtaining vital signs (training will be provided).

     

     

    Education/Skills Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.  Continued employment dependent on maintaining current CDL credentials and acceptable driving record.
    • Up-to-date DOT physical exam clearance
    • Suitable 10 year driving record must be submitted upon interview selection
    • Experience working in the public school system a plus
    • CPR certification a preferred but can be obtained upon hire 

     

    Other Requirements:

    • Must obey all established safety and driving / transportation rules and requirements before, during and after set-up and operation of the Mobile Unit.
    • Must immediately report maintenance and repair issues to the Fleet Manager and Mobile Health Services Program Manager.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Position Summary:  Performs routine X-ray procedures as ordered by the providers. Insures that equipment necessary to perform related duties is operational, accessible and properly maintained. Assures compliance with all regulatory agencies.

  • Population Health Specialist - Full Time - Dillon

    POSITION SUMMARY:  The Population Health Specialist will be responsible for collecting and reviewing patient population data and analyzing it to provide risk stratification. They will serve as a leader of population health based teams to ensure metrics are being addressed for the patient population. The Population Health Specialist will serve as the liaison to health plans and healthcare organizations participating in the care of our patients. The goal of the population health management program is to facilitate high-value, patient-centered care that improves timely access to and provision of preventive services and chronic disease treatment. 

    Duties Include: 

    • Identify and address care gaps within patient populations, especially in patients with chronic illnesses and diseases.
    • Contributes to a positive experience for patients and families through courteous telephone interactions and interview activities, as well as referral to appropriate clinical staff when necessary.
    • Gather and organize patient data to identify patient unmet needs, engage patients in care and communication between the patient and their care team. 
    • Operates systems such as CareSouth Carolina's EMR, health plan portals and population health analytics tools. Uses data to risk stratify patients and allocate appropriate resources to patients based on risk.  Prepares and submits reports and other relevant work products timely and accurately. 

    SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • A high school diploma or GED equivalent required. Two-year degree preferred
    • Proficient with electronic medical records and have the ability to provide detailed patient charting
    • Medical office experience strongly preferred
    • Strong interpersonal & communication skills & the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

    • Completes Relias trainings and signs off on PowerDMS documents in a timely fashion.
    • Willingly assists with other duties as requested.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Ability to assess training needs and objectives.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of constituencies in a diverse community.
    • A valid driver’s license required.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram or schedule form.
    • Ability to work independently and handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Education and Experience:

    High School Diploma

    One (1) to three (3) years experience in field for related field
