  • Ultrasound Technologist - PRN (as needed)

    Job Summary:  The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. The Ultrasound Technologist is also responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The Ultrasound Technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve.

    Qualifications:

    1. Satisfactory completion  of  formal  Radiologic  technology  training  in  an  AMA-approved  school  and   ability   to   meet   requirements   for   registry   by   the   American   Registry   of   Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
    2. Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) preferred
    3. Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty, as appropriate.
    4. Current BLS
    5. Ability to effectively operate sonographic equipment
    6. Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum diagnostic sonographic information in each examination performed
    7. Ability to communicate effectively with the patient and the health care team, recognizing the special nature of sonographic examinations and patient’s needs
    8. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and health care team
    9. Ability to follow established departmental procedures
    10. Ability to work efficiently and cope with emergency situations

    Lifting Requirements:

    Heavy lifting:  up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.  Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without rest.

    Location/Hours:  Chesterfield, Bennettsville.  This is a PRN position.  The Ultrasound Technologist will work as needed.

    Salary:  This is an hourly position.  $18 – $25 per hour depending on experience.

  • Housekeeper - Part Time - Floater

    JOB DESCRIPTION:  The responsibility of the housekeeper/custodian will include but is not limited to:  cleaning all areas of the facility on a daily basis; sweep, scrub, mop, vacuum floors; dust furniture; dust/wash walls, ceilings, door panels, window sills, and windows; empty waste baskets and replace liners; transport trash and waste to disposal area; clean and sanitize bathrooms and replenish bathroom supplies; clean patient exam rooms; follow and complete cleaning checklist to be turned into manager on a weekly basis; and other duties as required.

  • Floor Technician - Full time -Floater

    Floor Technicians are responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of  areas that include offices, patient rooms, break rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, and other public areas.  Other required duties may be assigned by the supervisor. 

    SKILLS/EDUCATION:  Minimum 1 ½ years experience in floor care, knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors with no supervision; knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively

  • Nursing EMR Trainer - Full Time - Society Hill

    POSITION SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for training, assisting and supporting the nurses nursing department, and may include other staff, in the use of the Electronic Medical Record (EHR) as it pertains to patient care and data collection.  High level knowledge of the EHR (vender is eClinical Works) is to be used with creative thinking and teaching skills in order to work with staff members and teams to identify best application of currently available software to achieve both quality and efficiency in patient care.  The position requires the ability to foster and maintain positive and close working relationships with staff in all departments.

  • Bilingual Customer Service Representative - Full Time - Hartsville

    JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Customer Service Representative’s primary responsibility will be to schedule patient appointments for medical office visits.  The CSR will be scheduling appointments from a central call center location for all CareSouth Carolina medical offices.  Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:  Gathers necessary demographic and clinical information and enters into scheduling system; may communicate visit requirements and instructions; and make necessary adjustments to the appointment as needed.

  • Clinical Data Specialist (LPN) - Full Time - Hartsville

    The Clinical Data Specialist is an integral part of the infectious disease program.  The responsibilities of the Clinical Data Specialist will include but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for collecting, reviewing and analyzing data for Care Innovations/Infectious Disease patients and potential Care Innovations/ID populations
    • Will lead improvement efforts within the ID Department.

  • Maintenance Technician - Full Time - Society Hill

    JOB DESCRIPTION:  Under general supervision, performs routine maintenance work, minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work at all sites.  Conducts safety inspections and makes recommendations for corrective action and follow-up maintenance.  Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Maintains buildings, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.  Replaces air conditioning filters.

  • Fleet Assistant - Full Time - Warehouse

    POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direction of the Director of Physical Plant, the primary responsibility of the Fleet Assistant is ensuring the CareSouth Carolina vehicle fleet is operational and maintained.  Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Maintains preventive maintenance schedules for all CareSouth Carolina company vehicles
    • Responds to, assesses, and responds to any vehicle need when problems arise. Manages in-house repairs based on skill set taking into account cost of outside repair, warranty, liability, etc.
    • Utilizes database of insured drivers to ensure only authorized drivers are operating the fleet vehicles
    • Maintains database to track vehicle VINs, mileage, and vehicle maintenance schedule, such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
    • When needed, operates the commercial (Mobile Medical/Dental Units) vehicles, and troubleshoots issues with the commercial vehicle(s), including acting as the liaison with the manufacturers
    • Assists the Director of Physical Plant with warehouse and department needs as time allows

  • ROADS Mobile Unit Specialist - Full Time - Locations Listed In Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direct supervision of the Mobile Health Services Program Manager, the ROADS Mobile Unit Specialist is responsible for the day to day transportation needs of one or more of the ROADS mobile healthcare units. The primary responsibility of the Mobile Unit Specialist is to safely operate the vehicle driving to and from its daily assigned workplace, including performing thorough pre-trip inspections daily and promptly reporting any issues to the Fleet Manager. The Mobile Unit Specialist will be responsible for securing a suitable parking area at each assigned location and setting up the mobile unit for clinic readiness.

     

    In addition, the Mobile Unit Specialist will perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling, and insurance verification. He/She will assist the ROADS team clinical staff with escorting children from class to the mobile unit and obtaining vital signs (training will be provided).

     

     

    Education/Skills Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.  Continued employment dependent on maintaining current CDL credentials and acceptable driving record.
    • Up-to-date DOT physical exam clearance

  • Patient Support Specialist - Full Time - Hartsville

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Patient Support Specialist’s primary role is to support the operations department by providing a broad range of administrative tasks targeted to enhance the patient experience.  The PSS will be cross trained to provide coverage in various areas:  Call Center, Front Office, Registration, and Screening.  The PSS will be utilized to provide essential coverage throughout our organization to be assigned to work in all of our sites -  Bishopville, Hartsville, Society Hill, Chesterfield, Cheraw, Bennettsville, McColl, Dillon, Lake View, Latta, and on our MOBY units.

     

    The duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Scheduling and greeting patients

    • Taking medication refill requests
    • Provides basic assistance to the clinical employees and assisting patient needs
    • Greets all incoming individuals at the on-site location (employees, patients, and visitors)

    Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field or equivalent combinations of training and experience with demonstrated competence to fulfill duties assigned to this position.

    LOCATION:  Position located in Hartville, SC.  Travel throughout the Pee Dee required on a weekly basis.

    HOURS: Full-time, 37.50  hours (Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 5:00, Friday 8:00 – 1:30.)

    Proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 must be presented prior to beginning work with CareSouth Carolina.  Full vaccination is receipt of both doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
