JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, performs routine maintenance work, minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry work at all sites.  Conducts safety inspections and makes recommendations for corrective action and follow-up maintenance.  Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintains buildings, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.  Replaces air conditioning filters.
• May clean snow and debris from sidewalks and parking areas.  Performs landscaping maintenance such as mowing of lawns, trimming shrubbery, planting flowers.
• Assists in the transportation and rearrangement of furniture and equipment as needed.
• Repaints as required the interior and exterior of all buildings.
• Performs floor surface maintenance (stripping or Carpet shampooing) as needed.
• Helps conduct yearly inventory of all site equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• A minimum of two years’ maintenance experience required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

LOCATION

Society Hill, SC – work will be performed at CareSouth Carolina offices located in Lake View, Latta, Dillon, McColl, Bennettsville, Cheraw, Chesterfield, Society Hill, Hartsville, and Bishopville (SC).

HOURS

Monday - Thursday or Tuesday – Friday, 7:30AM – 6:00 PM.  Occasional overtime required.
