Data Analyst

Society Hill, SC


Job Description

The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful information using data programming language, analytics, and visualization software. The analyst will apply data mining, modeling, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. The analyst will visualize, interpret, and report data findings to the appropriate staff, management, and leadership as required. The duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze, manipulate, and process large and small datasets to assist in the identification and resolution of operational problems.
  • Create and maintain Tableau dashboards independently and in collaboration with others to determine design specifications or details and document those specifications.
  • Write and assist in writing functional SQL queries.
  • Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, and/or clinical data for review by leadership, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Learn usage and reporting for any new software as assigned.
  • Present accurate information to various levels of organizational leadership in an organized and functional manner.
  • Expand professional development through participation in classes, professional memberships, and maintaining a working knowledge of industry tools and trends.

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, mathematical, financial, or other related field preferred
  • Knowledge and/or experience with MS Office products, SQL, Tableau or other data visualization software, basic programming, and business statistics required
  • Understanding of data management, automation, modeling, and architecture required
  • Adaptability/Flexibility to constant changes in work pace
