POSITION SUMMARY

Functioning under the clinical guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the staff nurse participates in the assessment and care of clinic patients. This involves a variety of tasks requiring judgment born of a solid knowledge and expertise in general nursing theory. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Interacts with patients and employees in a respectful manner consistent with the mission and values of CareSouth Carolina.
• Provides the required documentation for every visit.
• Maintains a clean environment for performing patient care.
• Injections will be administered using the 7 patient administration rights (right patient, right time, right medication, right route, right dose, right reason, right documentation).
• Performs callbacks promptly.
• Assists with referrals as needed.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Must be licensed to work as an LPN in the State of South Carolina
• Must be CPR certified
• Six to twelve months of experience in a community health care center or family practice setting is preferred

HOURS

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
