JOB DESCRIPTION:

Functioning under the clinical guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the staff nurse participates in the assessment and care of HIV/AIDS and other patients with infectious diseases. This involves a variety of tasks requiring judgment born of a solid knowledge and expertise in general nursing theory. The duties include, but are not limited to:

• Thorough documentation in electronic health record at every visit.
• Maintains a clean environment
• Injections administered using the 7 patient administration rights
• Timely call backs to patients
• Assists with referrals as needed
• Daily checking and response to email communications
• Daily team huddles
• Active, positive interaction with healthcare delivery team

Education and Experience:

• Must be licensed to work as an LPN or RN in the State of South Carolina.
• Must have experience working in a Ryan White HIV/AIDS program.
• Must be BLS certified.

HOURS:

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday
