SC Governor Henry McMaster issues a Proclamation in honor of National Healthcare Center Week

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster issued a proclamation recognizing August 7 - 13 as South Carolina Health Center Week, bringing recognition to the "important contributions of health centers in safeguarding the health and improving the quality of life of the residents of the Palmetto State."

"For over 50 years community health centers have provided high-quality, affordable comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare in our nation's underserved communities, delivering value to and having a significant impact on America's healthcare system." McMaster states in the Proclamation.

CareSouth Carolina will be hosting several events throughout the week as part of National Health Center Week.
