What’s the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan?
The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan is a new payment option in the prescription drug law that works with your current drug coverage to help you manage your out-of-pocket costs for drugs covered by your plan by spreading them across the calendar year (January–December).
Starting in 2025, anyone with a Medicare drug plan or Medicare health plan with drug coverage (like a Medicare Advantage Plan with drug coverage) can use this payment option.
All plans offer this payment option, and participation is voluntary.
This payment option might help you manage your monthly expenses, but it doesn’t save you money or lower your drug costs.

October 2024 - Employees of the Month
CareSouth Carolina recognizes Linsey Dial and Megan Lane, our dedicated LPNs at the Dillon Site, as Employees of the Month for October! Their exceptional teamwork and commitment to improving childhood immunization rates have made a significant impact on our community.
Linsey and Megan have been actively participating in IQUIP calls to develop and implement effective strategies to increase immunization rates for 2-year-olds and 13-year-olds. Their consistent efforts have been highly praised and their innovative approach to leveraging the Immunization Information System (IIS) has been noted.
One of their key strategies has been to systematically work through the SIMON reminder call list, reaching out to patients either by phone or mail to encourage timely immunizations. This diligent approach has resulted in a substantial improvement in immunization rates over the past six months.
We are incredibly proud of Linsey and Megan's dedication and hard work. Their efforts have not only improved the health of our community but have also set a high standard for excellence in patient care. Congratulations to both of you!
