May 2026 Employee of the Month - Donna Brown-Stewart

Serving as both a nurse and the office Risk Officer, Donna consistently goes above and beyond her job responsibilities to ensure patients receive exceptional care and that her provider has the support needed. Her willingness to step in wherever needed is truly admirable. On one particularly challenging day, when both the Medical Assistant and Lab Technician were out, Donna seamlessly worked up patients while simultaneously covering the lab to ensure every patient received the services they needed. Her ability to adapt and support multiple functions reflects her extraordinary teamwork and dedication.

Donna's proactive approach sets her apart. She carefully reviews patient schedules, researches specialist reports, prepares lab information, and ensures the provider has everything they need before each patient visit. Her attention to detail keeps workflows running smoothly and allows the clinical team to focus on delivering high-quality care. Beyond her technical expertise, Donna is deeply committed to patient education and support. Whether reinforcing treatment plans, teaching patients how to administer insulin, or taking extra time to help patients navigate technology such as the Healow app, she consistently demonstrates compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed in their healthcare journey. Donna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every interaction. She handles challenges with professionalism, supports her colleagues without hesitation, and always puts patients first.
