CareSouth Carolina’s Chesterfield center, located at 204 Perry Wiley Way, will host a blood drive on Monday, August 16 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Those interested in donating blood for The American Red Cross blood drive can visit RedCrossBlood.org using code ‘CareSouth Carolina’ or call 843-623-5080 to make an appointment.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
