Courtney Feagin, PharmD, Joins CareSouth Carolina as Clinical Pharmacist

CareSouth Carolina is pleased to announce the addition of Courtney Feagin, PharmD to its Value-Based Care Team. 

A passionate advocate for patient education and accessibility, Feagin joins the team as a Clinical Pharmacist focused on improving outcomes in underserved communities.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy holding a Doctorate in Pharmacy, Feagin previously completed a pharmacy residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center and knew early on that she wanted to work beyond the walls of a hospital.

“I knew I wanted to do something more in the community,” Feagin says. “I wanted to help bridge the gap between the patient and their provider—to connect the dots and make sure patients fully understand their care.”

Feagin brings a deep personal connection to her work. Growing up in a family where health literacy was limited, she witnessed firsthand how chronic conditions could be misunderstood or untreated. Now, she uses that experience to guide her approach with patients.

“A lot of my families didn’t know what they were being treated for,” she says. “Being able to meet patients where they are and explain their treatment in ways they understand—it's powerful. I want them to feel supported and truly cared for.”

At CareSouth Carolina, Feagin’s role includes supporting patients through Annual Wellness Visits, helping with medication adherence, making preventive care referrals, and working closely with the care team to address each patient’s unique needs.

When she’s not working, Feagin enjoys reading fantasy, horror, and thriller novels. She also loves spending time with friends, playing card and board games with her fiancé, and relaxing with a good book.
