CareSouth Carolina’s Tracy Beasley, Compliance/Contract & Credentialing Director, has been named the inaugural recipient of the Stephen P. Williams Corporate Compliance Professional of the Year Award at the 2026 South Carolina Primary Health Care Association (SCPHCA) Annual Conference & Board Governance Retreat.
Named in memory of the late Stephen P. Williams, the award recognizes an outstanding community health center professional who demonstrates excellence in corporate compliance, ethical leadership, risk management, and organizational integrity.
For Beasley, who has dedicated 30 years to CareSouth Carolina, the recognition was especially meaningful.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive this award in memory of Stephen Williams,” Beasley said. “Stephen left a lasting impact on community health centers in South Carolina. Receiving this award was such a privilege and an emotional moment.”
Throughout her three decades with CareSouth Carolina, Beasley has played an important role in helping the organization maintain the ethical and regulatory standards necessary to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
While corporate compliance often takes place behind the scenes, its impact reaches every part of a healthcare organization. From managing risk and maintaining regulatory requirements to protecting organizational integrity, compliance professionals help ensure that community health centers can continue serving patients and families with confidence.
Beasley credits CareSouth Carolina's mission and the relationships she has developed over the years for making her career so rewarding.
“CareSouth Carolina is more than a place of employment for me,” Beasley said. “It is a place where I have grown professionally, built lasting relationships and shared the same goal of caring for and improving the health and well-being of everyone.”
