CSC's Staci Cassidy Honored With Dr. Rick Foster Primary Care Telehealth Champion Award

CareSouth Carolina is proud to announce that Staci Cassidy, FNP-C, has been named the recipient of the Dr. Rick Foster Primary Care Telehealth Champion Award, recognizing her commitment to using telehealth to improve access to quality healthcare for patients and communities.

Cassidy is a family nurse practitioner who practices aboard CareSouth Carolina’s ROADS mobile health units, helping bring healthcare directly into communities. She has been with CareSouth Carolina for five years.

“Initially, I was overwhelmed with gratitude,” Cassidy said. “It was such an honor knowing what this award represents and the legacy of Dr. Rick Foster. It is not just about me, but it represents patients, families, and communities who have trusted us to find ways to make healthcare more accessible.”

Through her work on the ROADS mobile units, Cassidy helps CareSouth Carolina meet patients where they are while using telehealth and other innovative approaches to expand access to services.

“I feel incredibly humbled to have my name associated with this award and am grateful to every one of my clinical team members and community partners who have been a part of this journey,” Cassidy said. “I am excited to continue finding ways to use telehealth to make a difference in the lives of our patients at CareSouth Carolina.”

Cassidy said the most rewarding part of the job often comes down to the individual people she has an opportunity to help each day.

“I love knowing that maybe I made a difference in someone else’s life today,” Cassidy said. “I like being able to connect with people and help them feel better and more confident about their health.”

That personal connection remains at the heart of her approach to patient care, whether she is seeing someone aboard a ROADS mobile unit or helping connect patients with care through telehealth.

The Dr. Rick Foster Primary Care Telehealth Champion Award recognizes that commitment to finding new ways to connect patients with the healthcare services they need.

When she isn’t caring for patients, Cassidy enjoys spending time with her family and her dachshunds, traveling whenever she gets the opportunity, and enjoying time at home.
