Many have asked about the WPDE report we would stop distributing the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine.
That is not true. We will continue to offer the J&J Vaccine at our mobile and pop-up events.
This was due to a misunderstanding on our part. We apologize for the confusion and look forward to continuing to serve our communities.
CareSouth Carolina is working to ensure the safety of our communities, our patients and our staff members. Please click 'learn more' for the latest updates on our vaccine supply and distribution.

Smith, the 11th provider to join the Hartsville main team, is a Hartsville native and is excited to provide care for people throughout the Pee Dee.
“It’s very rewarding to be a part of my community,” Smith said. “CareSouth Carolina is community-oriented and I’m excited to be a part of the organization.”
Smith said she enjoys getting to meet patients and work with them to find a solution.
“I like being part of an FQHC because we take care of people regardless of their ability to pay,” Smith said. “I want to help people that need help and I can’t imagine turning anyone away because everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare. Whether it be sickness, high blood pressure, something you’re struggling with emotionally, or anything else, I’m going to work with you and we’re going to figure it out together.”
Smith did clinical work at CareSouth Carolina under the leadership of Jennifer Lynch, FNP, at the Hartsville office. She also worked as an RN in the Cardiovascular ICU at McLeod Health; and did clinical work at the McLeod Regional Medical Center- Critical Care Associates and the McLeod Health Dillon Emergency Room.
Smith received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of South Carolina, Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Francis Marion University and Masters of Science in Nursing at Francis Marion University.
Outside of work, Smith enjoys riding her horses, hunting, going to the lake and spending time with her grandparents and friends.
