BISHOPVILLE – CareSouth Carolina welcomes Joe Reynolds, AGNP-C, as the newest provider at the Bishopville Center.
Reynolds, who worked as an RN CareSouth Carolina’s IV Therapy Department in Hartsville for the past four years, said the organization was a perfect fit because of his desire to serve the community.
“CareSouth Carolina exemplifies the true meaning of being a “community-centered” health care facility,” Reynolds said. “I have a deep admiration for how everyone within this company has made a collective effort to improve the overall health status of the underserved populations that are in desperate need of people who not only possess the necessary skill-set and tools to be of service, but also the mercy and compassion to heal those who would continue to suffer if someone did not decide to provide a place for them to be treated not only as patients but as a valued part of our community.”
Prior to coming to CareSouth Carolina, Reynolds worked at McLeod Regional Medical Center as an MICU Registered Nurse. He received his Masters of Science in Nursing at Walden University (Minneapolis, MN) and received an Associates of Science in Nursing at Florence-Darlington Technical College.
Reynolds said more than anything he wants to provide a relaxed environment for his patients.
“I really want to create a relaxed atmosphere for my patients,” Reynolds said. “For me, patience and active listening are essential to discovering a possible solution to a patients’ health concerns. Therefore, I intend to give each patient my undivided attention so that I can help them reach their health goals. To every patient - I am looking forward to us working together so that we can achieve the best possible outcomes for you.”
Outside of work, Reynolds enjoys spending time with his family including two girls. He also enjoys watching Boxing, UFC and playing Chess.
