April 5th 2021

SOCIETY HILL, S.C. -- CareSouth Carolina, in partnership with Vantage Point and the CareFIRST Carolina Foundation, will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Tuesday, April 13 in Society Hill.

The COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Open Shelter at Society Hill Town Hall (208 S. Main Street, Society Hill).

“Frozen Meal Boxes” will be given to seniors ages 60 and older, and CareFIRST Carolina will be distributing “Shelf-Stable Food Boxes” at the event for those ages 60 and older.

Vaccines and supplies will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. You are not eligible to receive the vaccine at this clinic if you have already received your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Insurance will be billed, but there is no cost to the patient and you do not have to be a patient of CareSouth Carolina.

CareSouth Carolina is the only community health center in the nation also designated as an Area Agency on Aging and an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) by the State of South Carolina, the Administration on Aging and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Through Vantage Point, seniors throughout the Pee Dee region have access to many services including information, referral and assistance, Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman, Regional Family Caregiver Support Program, The Senior Medicare Fraud Patrol, Medicare Information Services and many other special projects.

CareFIRST Carolina is an independent supporting foundation dedicated to financially supporting the mission of CareSouth Carolina. Together, we provide and improve access to health and support services to those who need them most. It is the first regional foundation to focus on improving the access and the quality of primary health care in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.
