CareSouth Carolina partnering with local Councils on Aging

CareSouth Carolina is partnering with the Councils on Aging in Chesterfield, Marlboro, Darlington and Dillon Counties to distribute meals to seniors age 60 and older who have health disparities and are experiencing food insecurities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are interested in receiving non-perishable meals, please call your local Council on Aging for additional information:

CareSouth Carolina stepped in to lend a helping hand to the Councils on Aging as a way to help seniors in the area receive necessary resources during a time where many residents are facing uncertainty.

“This is an excellent partnership and wonderful way to help seniors who are in need during this time,” said Sheila Welch, Director of Vantage Point. “Please make sure to call your local Council on Aging to see if you qualify.”

CareSouth Carolina is a private, non-profit community health center delivering patient-centered health and life services in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.
