CareSouth Carolina proudly announces the retirement of Eileen Brown, Call Center Coordinator, after 21 years of committed service and compassionate care.
Throughout her career, Brown was driven by one core passion: helping patients get what they need—clearly, kindly, and in a timely manner. Whether answering questions, scheduling appointments, or assisting with medication requests, she consistently focused on making sure patients felt supported and informed.
Brown began her journey at the front desk, where she quickly became a familiar and trusted face within the community. Serving in Bennettsville for several years before helping CareSouth Carolina open its dedicated Call Center that serves all sites, her role allowed her to build meaningful connections with patients and neighbors alike. That love for direct interaction eventually led her to help shape CareSouth Carolina’s call center operations.
“It goes back to the patients,” Brown said. “They call and they're unsure and it’s been my job and passion to get them what they need in a timely fashion. I like being able to educate them over the phone and help get them going in the direction they need to be heading.”
As she looks ahead to retirement, Brown plans to enjoy hands-on projects and well-earned relaxation. Her plans include starting a vegetable garden, tackling home renovations, traveling, celebrating holidays with loved ones, and enjoying cruises with family and friends.
CareSouth Carolina extends its sincere gratitude to Eileen Brown for her compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to patient care. Her legacy of service will continue to resonate with colleagues and patients alike.
