Dillon, SC - CareSouth Carolina is proud to highlight the remarkable achievements of three of patients who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their health and wellness goals. Mrs. Janette Dupree, Jennifer Dixon-Carter, and Samaria Pittman have each made incredible strides in their healthcare journeys, showcasing the strength and determination it takes to become a CareSouth Champion Patient.

Mrs. Janette Dupree has set ambitious health goals for herself and has achieved remarkable results. Through her unwavering commitment to her well-being, she successfully accomplished weight loss, improved her A1C from 6.5 to 5.7, and completed all of her routine health screenings, including a mammogram and colon screen. Mrs. Dupree's journey exemplifies the power of dedication and perseverance when it comes to personal health.

Jennifer Dixon-Carter embarked on a journey to enhance her health and has made remarkable progress. She successfully achieved her weight loss goals, improved her A1C from 6.1 to 5.3, and completed her colon screening. Her dedication to a healthier lifestyle through diet and exercise is a testament to the impact of determination on achieving health milestones.

Samaria Pittman has demonstrated immense determination and resilience on her path to better health. Focused on improving her A1C levels, she made significant progress, lowering her A1C from 13.2 to 11 in just over a month. Samaria is dedicated to further reducing her A1C to 7 or below, and her unwavering commitment to a healthier lifestyle is an inspiration to us all.

Haley Jones, FNP-BC, who practices at CareSouth's Dillon office and has served as the provider for all three patients, has been instrumental in guiding these patients on their healthcare journeys. She emphasizes the importance of dedication and perseverance, likening it to running a marathon.

"I take pride in educating my patients about the purpose of Care South Champion Patient and helping them understand the importance of taking the time to accomplish their healthcare goals as if they are running a Marathon," said Haley Jones. "Their goals will not be obtained within seconds. They will need to travel along a journey filled with many obstacles, but if they keep a steady pace and focus on the finish line, the end result will be rewarding. Mrs. Dupree and Mrs. Carter remained dedicated along their journey. Both patients focused on improving their A1C levels, weight, and completing healthcare screenings. It is an honor to reward them for their dedication, and they have truly exemplified what it means to be a CareSouth Champion Patient."
