Many have asked about the WPDE report we would stop distributing the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine.
That is not true. We will continue to offer the J&J Vaccine at our mobile and pop-up events.
This was due to a misunderstanding on our part. We apologize for the confusion and look forward to continuing to serve our communities.
CareSouth Carolina is working to ensure the safety of our communities, our patients and our staff members. Please click 'learn more' for the latest updates on our vaccine supply and distribution.

CareSouth Carolina has resumed its distribution of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine at its drive-up mobile and pop-up events.
CareSouth Carolina officially broke ground on its new Chesterfield Center located at 204 Commerce Avenue in Chesterfield on February 27th. On hand for the ceremony were representatives from the Town of Chesterfield, Chesterfield County Council, Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, CareSouth Carolina staff and board members.
“CareSouth Carolina has been invested in the Chesterfield community for over 13 years,” said Ann Lewis, Chief Executive Officer of CareSouth Carolina.
The new facility, with over 15,600 square feet, more than quadruples CareSouth Carolina’s capacity to provide services to Chesterfield county and surrounding areas. In addition to the services provided at the current location, the new facility will provide space for additional primary care providers, dental services, behavioral health counseling, x-ray, lab, ultrasound, pharmacy with a drive thru and a community room for various health and community events.
“This has been a very long time in the making,” said Lewis. “We have outgrown our current location and this new facility will definitely fix the space problem and provide much needed expanded services to the area.”
Presently, CareSouth Carolina employs 16 medical professionals in Chesterfield. Current staff includes Dr. Christina Biester, Family Practice; Sarah Knight, ANP-BC, Family Practice; Ryann Lee, FNP-C, Family Practice; Jack Rhyne, LISW, Clinical Counseling.
