CareSouth Carolina Awarded HRSA 2018 Health Center Quality Leader

CareSouth Carolina was recognized with a 2018 Quality Improvement Award by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for being a Health Center Quality Leader. CareSouth Carolina, Inc. achieved the best overall clinical performance among all health centers, placing in the top 30 percent of the adjusted quartile rankings for Clinical Quality Measures. As a top health center in the state of South Carolina, they were awarded over $230,000 in grants for exemplary service and commitment to quality care.

For more than 50 years, health centers have delivered affordable, accessible, cost-effective, and quality primary health care to patients regardless of their ability to pay. Health centers advance a model of coordinated, comprehensive, and patient-centered care, integrating a wide range of medical, dental, mental health, substance abuse use disorder, and patient support services. Today, nearly 1,400 health centers operate more than 11,000 service delivery sites that provide primary health care in every U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Pacific Basin.
