April 2026 Employee of the Month - Jason Freeman

CareSouth Carolina is proud to recognize Jason Freeman, Painter from our Warehouse as our April Employee of the Month for his extraordinary courage, selflessness, and commitment to helping others during a life-threatening emergency on April 15, 2026. On that day, Jason witnessed a serious automobile accident involving a fellow coworker, her grandchildren, and another driver. Without hesitation, he rushed to the scene to help. Realizing his coworker was unable to safely move away from her vehicle, Jason quickly stepped in to assist her out of a ditch and away from the vehicle moments before it caught fire and exploded. Jason also helped ensure the safety of her grandson while others assisted with her granddaughter. Afterward, he remained by his coworker’s side, offering reassurance and support until emergency responders arrived.

What makes this recognition even more meaningful is that Jason’s actions reflect who he is every day. He consistently demonstrates compassion, servant leadership, and a willingness to help others in times of need. His calm presence, quick thinking, and genuine care for others embody the very best of the CareSouth Carolina family. Because of Jason’s heroic actions, lives were protected, and a family was given comfort during a terrifying moment.
