CareSouth Carolina Now Administering Fall COVID Vaccine

CareSouth Carolina is now administering the Fall COVID-19 Vaccine at its medical offices and pediatric offices.

The vaccine is only available to CareSouth Carolina patients and is offered free of charge. Pediatric patients need to make appointments at the pediatric offices, while adult patients can receive their booster at other CareSouth Carolina offices by either walking in or scheduling an appointment.

CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 illness this fall and winter.

If you haven’t gotten any COVID vaccines yet, can you start with this one?

If you’ve never been vaccinated against COVID, now is a great time to start. You are considered up to date on COVID vaccination once you receive one dose of the updated vaccine.

If you recently received a dose of the bivalent vaccine, when should you get this updated COVID vaccine?

You should wait at least two months after getting the last dose of any COVID-19 vaccine before getting the updated COVID vaccine.

For pediatric patients, CareSouth Carolina is offering the NEW FALL COVID BOOSTER vaccine at our Bennettsville Pediatric and Hartsville Pediatric offices. Pediatric patients are given by appointment only, so please call one of the offices below to schedule an appointment:

For CareSouth Carolina adult patients, we are accepting both appointments and walk-ins for the NEW FALL COVID BOOSTER. 

The vaccine is being administered at all of our CareSouth Carolina locations.
