Job Description

Under the direction of the Medical Records Technical Advisor, the HIM Assistant is responsible to organize and manage health information data. They ensure that the information maintains its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in the electronic health system. The HIM Assistant will scan patient information (paper) into the system and process patient records requests.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Medical Records experience is strongly preferred
Three to five years of medical office experience is strongly preferred
Excellent computer skills are required to be successful in this position

Society Hill, SC

Hours

Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 must be presented prior to beginning work with CareSouth Carolina.
