Position Summary
The Employee Experience Specialist supports the design, coordination, and execution of employee experience (EX) programs and initiatives across the organization. Working closely with the Employee Experience Manager, this role helps bring the EX strategy to life by managing key programs, supporting staff, and ensuring a consistent, engaging employee journey. The duties of the position include:
- Assist in designing and maintaining employee experience frameworks and tools that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition.
- Support the creation and administration of engagement surveys and feedback mechanisms.
- Help analyze survey results and prepare reports identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in coordinating onboarding programs that foster early engagement and connection.
- Help administer onboarding, stay, and exit interviews and track key milestones (3, 6, 12 months).
- Support continuous improvement of lifecycle processes to enhance retention and employee satisfaction.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for engagement, wellness, and recognition programs.
- Support implementation of culture-building initiatives that foster trust and belonging.
- In collaboration with the EX Manager, designs and develops employee-facing communications, including newsletters, flyers, digital content, and engagement campaigns.
- Develop visually appealing materials to support employee experience initiatives, events, and programs
- Partner with HR to translate key messages into clear, engaging, and well-designed communications.
- Support efforts to ensure clear, consistent communication across the organization.
- Assist in preparing dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership.
- Support ongoing evaluation of EX initiatives and recommend improvements based on data.
- Partner with other departments to support cross-functional EX initiatives.
- Assist the Employee Experience Manager with project coordination and execution.
- Support reviews of management practices and policies to assess their impact on employee experience.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance the employer brand internally and externally.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to create engaging, professional materials and translate complex messaging into clear, employee-friendly content
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and design/communication tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present clear, actionable insights
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality in both written and visual work
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Ability to support and execute employee engagement, culture, and organizational development initiatives
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required
- 2–4 years of experience in employee experience, human resources, internal communications, employee engagement, marketing, or a related field
- Associate’s degree with 5–6 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree
- Experience creating communications, such as newsletters, digital content, or engagement campaigns
- Experience working with survey tools, feedback mechanisms, or employee data analysis preferred
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects or initiatives in a fast-paced environment is preferred
Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
