CareSouth Carolina is now administering the Fall COVID-19 Vaccine at its medical offices and pediatric offices. The vaccine is only available to CareSouth Carolina patients and is offered free of charge. Pediatric patients need to make appointments at the pediatric offices, while adult patients can receive their booster at other CareSouth Carolina offices by either walking in or scheduling an appointment.

This position requires knowledge and a comfort level with helping clients access health services in the primary care setting. In general, the Community Health Worker provides activities and programs that improve the health and overall quality of the life of community residents by decreasing barriers that may prevent them from accessing health and medical care; bringing educational messages about health and CSC into the community; and engaging residents in improved individual health. Duties include successful medical home and social service referral; home visits, increasing public education and awareness; the accurate reporting of information and data; positive public relations; and the integration of community services into CSC’s current delivery of care.
Full Time, 40 hours per week. This position may require occasional Saturday work.
Darlington, Lee and Chesterfield Counties - Occasional travel within the community and to other CSC locations is required.
