FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIAN - PART TIME OR FULL TIME

POSITION SUMMARY:  The family practice physician provides primary care in a Family Practice clinic setting.  Ambulatory services only, no E.R., in-patient or on-call required.  This position is part or full time with exempt status.  CareSouth Carolina is Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a Patient Centered Health Home and all employees are an integral part of this model of care delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides primary care to children & adults, with emphasis on healing maintenance & preventive care

ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST - TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME OR PRN - HARTSVILLE

Job Summary:  The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. The Ultrasound Technologist is also responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The Ultrasound Technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve.

Qualifications:

  1. Satisfactory completion  of  formal  Radiologic  technology  training  in  an  AMA-approved  school  and   ability   to   meet   requirements   for   registry   by   the   American   Registry   of   Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
  2. Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) preferred
  3. Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty, as appropriate.
  4. Current BLS
  5. Ability to effectively operate sonographic equipment
  6. Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum diagnostic sonographic information in each examination performed
  7. Ability to communicate effectively with the patient and the health care team, recognizing the special nature of sonographic examinations and patient’s needs
  8. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and health care team

Lifting Requirements:

Heavy lifting:  up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.  Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without rest.

FLOOR TECHNICIAN-PART-TIME-SOCIETY HILL

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Floor Technicians are responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of  areas that include offices, patient rooms, break rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, and other public areas.  Other required duties may be assigned by the supervisor.  SKILLS/EDUCATION:  Minimum 1 ½ years experience in floor care, knowledge of how to stripe, wax and burnish floors with no supervision; knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as a high speed buffer, extractor, wet vac, pressure washer, auto scrubber. Functioning under the clinical guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the medical assistant participates in the assessment and care of clinic patients. This involves a variety of tasks requiring judgment born of a solid knowledge and expertise in general nursing theory. Primary responsibility is to assist in the assessment and care of patients within the scope of her/his training limitations. May perform limited exams, take vital signs or perform laboratory tests within regulatory limitations. The Division of Dental Medicine provides dental care within our medical sites, in local area schools, and on our mobile dental unit.  These services cover/include the following counties:  Dillon, Marlboro, Chesterfield, Darlington, and Lee.  This position requires travel on a daily basis to the assigned location within any/all of these counties.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The duties of the Dental Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to:
