+Expanded Duty Dental Assistant - FULL TIME - Two Positions Available
JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary role of the Dental Assistant is to assist the dentist in providing high-quality dental care. Duties include, but not limited to: Prepare & maintain dental instruments; prepares the operatory for the patient visit, prepares dental materials—cements, amalgams, composites, impression materials, etc; assists with dental charting for billing within the electronic practice management software; provides active chairside assistance; transfers instruments as appropriate for four-handed dentistry; anticipates the dentist’s needs. SKILLS/EDUCATION: Successful completion of an Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Program or Dental Hygiene Program. One year’s experience preferred. HOURS: Full time, 40 hours per week. +Floor Technician - WareHouse (Society Hill) - Part Time
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:  Floor Technicians are responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of  areas that include offices, patient rooms, break rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, and other public areas.  Other required duties may be assigned by the supervisor.  SKILLS/EDUCATION:  Minimum 1 ½ years experience in floor care, knowledge of how to stripe, wax and burnish floors with no supervision; knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as a high speed buffer, extractor, wet vac, pressure washer, auto scrubber. JOB DESCRIPTION:  Responsible for setting up estimates, budgets and the construction timetable for various building/expansion projects as well as providing direction for the construction strategy. +Regional Friendly Visitor Program Coordinator- Full Time - Vantage Point (Hartsville)
This position under the supervision of the Regional Ombudsman and the oversight of the AAA Director conducts monthly friendly visits in assigned facilities as directed.   Advocate for the residents by addressing resident rights with appropriate facility staff.  Provide information about residents’ rights and LTCO services.  Participate in Resident and Family Councils upon request.  Function as a resource to residents and their families. Maintain communication with the Regional Ombudsman’s office at all times.  Report any suspected, alleged, or actual cases of abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the Regional Ombudsman’s office as required by law.  Coordinators DO NOT provide personal services, assist with eating or feeding, provide food or beverages, or any other responsibility that is managed by the facility staff.   Coordinators DO NOT investigate complaints, mediate disputes, or involve themselves in any controversy with families or facility staff unless instructed by the Regional Ombudsman.  Must maintain confidentiality at all times.  Keep accurate records and submit monthly reports to the Regional LTCO program. Participate in ongoing continuing education training. Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Ombudsman.   The Coordinator is responsible for following the policies and procedures established by the Office of the State Long Term Care Ombudsman and the State Agency for the Friendly Ombudsman Visit Program.  The coordinator is responsible for recruiting volunteers for each county in the region, completing volunteer packets, and coordinating with state and/or local trainers to complete certification training for all volunteers as indicated. Coordinator is responsible for facilitation of the annual volunteer appreciation day (April of each year).The coordinator will provide support to the I-Care, SMP, Information and Assistance, and the Family Caregiver Support Program as needed.  EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or another field required.  Location:  Vantage Point (Hartsville).  HOURS:  This position will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
