FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIAN - PART TIME OR FULL TIME

POSITION SUMMARY:  The family practice physician provides primary care in a Family Practice clinic setting.  Ambulatory services only, no E.R., in-patient or on-call required.  This position is part or full time with exempt status.  CareSouth Carolina is Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a Patient Centered Health Home and all employees are an integral part of this model of care delivery.

ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST - PRN - HARTSVILLE, McCOLL

Job Summary:  The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. The Ultrasound Technologist is also responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The Ultrasound Technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve.

Qualifications:

  1. Satisfactory completion  of  formal  Radiologic  technology  training  in  an  AMA-approved  school  and   ability   to   meet   requirements   for   registry   by   the   American   Registry   of   Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
  2. Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) preferred
  3. Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty, as appropriate.
  4. Current BLS
  5. Ability to effectively operate sonographic equipment

  • Ensures all Front Office quarterly audits are performed and given to Practice Administrators in a timely manner for review.
  • Conducts retraining with staff who have failed audits
  • Answers calls/emails/questions from CSR’s and MOA’s in reference to problems/comments that may arise in their work area.
  • Leads and conducts various EMR, Customer Service, MOA & CSR trainings for new and/or current employees through oral, visual and written presentations.
  • Works closely with the COO and Practice Administrators to keep them abreast of site findings.

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a CSC employee with a minimum of two years high-level front office experience
  • Must be representative of our Service Standards (Joy, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, Respect)

JOB SUMMARY:  This position identifies, investigates and resolves reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation made by or on behalf of residents that relate to action, inaction, or decisions that may adversely affect the health, safety, welfare or rights of the victim in the Pee Dee Region.  Is responsible for insuring that victims have regular and timely access to representatives of the program and timely responses to reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation.  Victim’s interests and rights are represented before governmental and judicial agencies.  Seeks judicial, administrative, legal and other remedies.  Supports the development of resident and family councils as a preventative measure against abuse.  Works closely with local and state law enforcement as well as the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, psychiatric hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, drug and alcohol treatment facilities and community mental health centers.  Responsible for carrying out the duties/activities of the program in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the Office of the State Long Term Care Ombudsman.

SKILLS/EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor degree in Social Work or related field required.
  • One to three years’ experience with senior services preferred
