+Patient Advocate - Full-time Bishopville
JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Patient Advocate works as an integral part of the clinical healthcare team and assists patients with obtaining all available medications as prescribed by the primary care provider. This includes direct communication with CSC Pharmacy for all aspects of pharmaceutical interactions; including faxing prescriptions, distribution of delivered prescriptions.  Completes various Prescription Assistance Program applications, voucher programs, and community resource applications and referrals.   Interact with patients and employees in a professional and respectful manner consistent with the mission and values of CareSouth Carolina. Position Summary:  The IT Liaison will work heavily in the area of system administration and with our EHR team to support the functionality of our Electronic Health System.
