FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIAN - PART TIME OR FULL TIME

POSITION SUMMARY:  The family practice physician provides primary care in a Family Practice clinic setting.  Ambulatory services only, no E.R., in-patient or on-call required.  This position is part or full time with exempt status.  CareSouth Carolina is Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a Patient Centered Health Home and all employees are an integral part of this model of care delivery.

ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST - PRN - HARTSVILLE, McCOLL

Job Summary:  The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. The Ultrasound Technologist is also responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The Ultrasound Technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease and new procedures as they evolve.

Qualifications:

  1. Satisfactory completion  of  formal  Radiologic  technology  training  in  an  AMA-approved  school  and   ability   to   meet   requirements   for   registry   by   the   American   Registry   of   Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
  2. Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) preferred
  3. Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty, as appropriate.
  4. Current BLS
  5. Ability to effectively operate sonographic equipment
  6. Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum diagnostic sonographic information in each examination performed

  • Provide prophylaxis: Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating and draping patient; Remove calculus and plaque by scaling and polishing
  • Apply preventive materials: Apply topical fluoride to teeth; Instruct patient not to drink for 30 minutes post application; Apply sealant material as indicated per dentist
  • Taking patient radiographs: Drape patient with lead apron; exposing and developing x-rays for diagnostic evaluation. Maintaining processor per manufacturer guidelines

ROADS Mobile Unit Specialist (Driver) - Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Mobile Health Services Program Manager, the ROADS Mobile Unit Specialist is responsible for the day to day transportation needs of one or more of the ROADS mobile healthcare units. The primary responsibility of the Mobile Unit Specialist is to safely operate the vehicle driving to and from its daily assigned workplace, including performing thorough pre-trip inspections daily and promptly reporting any issues to the Fleet Manager. The Mobile Unit Specialist will be responsible for securing a suitable parking area at each assigned location and setting up the mobile unit for clinic readiness.

In addition, the Mobile Unit Specialist will perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling, and insurance verification. He/She will assist the ROADS team clinical staff with escorting children from class to the mobile unit and obtaining vital signs (training will be provided).

Education/Skills Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement. Continued employment dependent on maintaining current CDL credentials and acceptable driving record.
  • Up-to-date DOT physical exam clearance
  • Suitable 10 year driving record must be submitted upon interview selection
  • Experience working in the public school system a plus
  • CPR certification a preferred but can be obtained upon hire

Other Requirements:

EMR Trainer (LPN) - Floater

Groundskeeper - Society Hill

POSITION SUMMARY:  The grounds keeper is responsible for both routine and extensive grounds keeping activity to include but not limited to:

  • Mowing and trimming lawns, planting grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
  • Trimming and pruning of trees and shrubs
  • Applying herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers
  • Litter and leaf removal
  • Performs snow and ice removal from parking lots and sidewalks
  • As directed by the Director, ensures that preventive maintenance is carried out on a scheduled basis and completes maintenance records for all equipment
  • As directed by Director, performs routine labor and remodeling activities when grounds keeping activities have been completed

SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • One year’s grounds keeping experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Must have the ability to write simple correspondence
  • Must have the ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Position will be working outside in the elements 100% of the time.

  • Must have the ability to work in extreme heat and cold
  • Routinely lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 100 pounds
  • Standing up three or more hours at a time on a daily basis. Stooping and bending on an hourly basis.
  • Reaching and Grasping objects and materials.  Pushing and pulling.

LOCATION: This position will start and end each day in Society Hill, SC. Will drive/ride in company vehicle and work at all CSC locations: Bishopville, Hartsville, Society Hill, Chesterfield, Cheraw, Bennettsville, McColl, LakeView, Dillon, and Latta.

HOURS: Monday-Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm.  Will be required to work occasionally on the weekend (3 – 4 times per year).

RMA/CMA - Full time - Society Hill
