Job Description

The Purchasing Clerk performs duties required to maintain required supplies in the sites.  Administrative tasks as required to meet these requirements in an efficient and timely manner.  The incumbent may also be required to generate and present reports around these areas for Management and staff concerning the business details surrounding these duties.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.

• Zero (0) to One (1) year of experience in the field or a related field.

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic statistical analysis, and business mathematics.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.

• Ability to work independently and handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

• Must have a valid driver's license and a 10 year driving record that will be approved for company insurance coverage.

Monday – Friday, Full Time

Location

Hartsville(Corporate) - Traveling is required to other CSC locations.
