CareSouth Carolina’s Behavioral Health Department is an integral part of our comprehensive health management program. Our clinical counselors and social workers have been lauded nationally for their ability to integrate behavioral and primary health care. Such services insure that clients and their families receive the best care available. We also work with those referred to us by other community service organizations.

Clinical Counseling
CareSouth Carolina provides both individual and family counseling. Our goal is to help our clients deal with situations before they become problems. Our counselors are professionally trained psychologists and licensed social workers who specialize in providing both immediate and long–term assistance to individuals who are having problems with depression, anxiety, substance dependency or other psychosocial needs.

Social Services
CareSouth Carolina also offers assistance with financial and resource counseling to help clients and their families receive all the assistance of federal, state or local programs for which they might be eligible.

Pharmaceutical Program
In partnership with private corporations, CareSouth Carolina has also developed a successful pharmaceutical program for the large number of patients who struggle to pay for needed prescriptions. Ask your CareSouth Carolina medical or behavioral health provider for more information on this program.
