CareFirst Steps Up for CSC

With children, it’s nearly impossible to plan more than a day ahead.  Most parents have trouble just getting through the week.  Add a sick child on Friday night, and the stress level triples.

“We’ve all been there,” says Dr. Roosevelt Daniel at CareSouth Carolina’s Bishopville Center.  “Kid’s don’t follow an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule.  I know that many parents have transportation or work issues and can’t get their children to the doctor during the week.  Hopefully, Saturday pediatrics will answer the need here in Lee County and give parents another option.”

CareSouth Carolina is now open for pediatric care on Saturdays in Bishopville.  Right now, the center is open every third Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for children from birth to 21 years of age.

Dr. Daniel is certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine.  He has been providing medical care to children in the Bishopville Center for two years.

In the near future, CareSouth Carolina plans to extend its after-hours pediatric services in Bishopville, including more Saturdays in the month.
