Stroke Mobile - Looking for Locations
At the inspiration of Dana Wolfe, Certified Nurse Practitioner and Greg Daniel, MD at CSC’s Bishopville Center, CSC sponsored a community-wide Lee County Children and Youth Art Contest for children ages 3 to 18 who live in Lee County. The contest provided an opportunity for the youth to express themselves and have their works displayed for public viewing. Over 100 young artists submitted their works for judging. The contest encouraged creative works that say something about health, peace, living in Lee County and/or community unity. It provided the adults in Lee County the unique opportunity to see the community and the world through the eyes of our children and youth. On February 21st, CSC sponsored a Business Afterhours where children and the leaders of the community came together to view their creations and celebrate their success. The top 3 in three age categories and the honorable mentions had their work of art framed and displayed at the reception. Winners in each of three age categories received cash prizes, and their work will be displayed throughout 2008 at the CareSouth Carolina Bishopville Center. The works produced by the children were refreshing and absolutely outstanding.
